Today’s Admission Fees and Hours of Operation

Ticket Purchase

To avoid lineups, we recommend purchasing an electronic ticket in advance.
Admission varies by season, from ¥700 to ¥1,500 for adults and from ¥300 to ¥800 for primary and junior-high-school students.
We’re unable to provide refunds or substitutions in the event of cancellation by the customer, so please check your details carefully before placing your order.

Access

By train

Take the Sagami Railway (“Sotetsu”) to Hiranumabashi Station and walk 10 minutes.

  • route1 If you’re arriving in a wheelchair or pushing a stroller, etc., please follow this route (about 13 minutes).
  • route2 Otherwise, take this route, crossing the pedestrian overpass (there is no elevator; about 10 minutes).

By courtesy shuttle bus

The shuttle bus departs from the west exit of Yokohama Station, in front of Resona Bank.
Note: Service is not provided on Wednesdays. However, it is provided on public holidays.

Parking discount

  • When you tour the model house and showroom, present your parking stub when you pay for admission and purchases. The attendant will stamp the back of your parking stub. (Admission to Yokohama English Garden entitles you to 2 hours’ free parking.)
  • Later, validate your parking stub at a validation machine. If you don’t validate the parking stub, you won’t receive a discount, so be sure to do so.

Locations of validation machines

  1. Plaza Yokohama Information House (from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
  2. Reception at Yokohama Kurashikan (from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
  3. Yokohama English Garden (from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, except winter (from December to February) from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM))
  4. Family Mart tvk ecom park location (available outside the hours of 1 to 3) above and on public holidays)

You can adjust your fare at the price adjustment machine at any gate.
When adjusting your fare, please note that only 1,000-yen notes and coins (¥100 and ¥500) are accepted.
* The new (two-tone) ¥500 coins are not accepted.

Bringing Items Into the Garden

Thank you very much for visiting us at Yokohama English Garden!

Please help us to keep Yokohama English Garden an enjoyable place for everyone to stroll and relax in. We ask you to refrain from occupying one spot for too long, so that others can enjoy it too. Except for the early-morning premium time, please refrain from using tripods or selfie sticks when taking photos and video in the Garden. Thank you very much for your kind consideration.

To ensure the safety and security of all visitors, protect the cultivation of trees and plants and prevent damage to event decorations, the following items are prohibited from Yokohama English Garden starting September 1, 2024.

  • Items that can be set up to occupy a single location for an extended period of time (Ex.: Tripods, stepladders, stands, tables, chairs, etc (including folding versions of each)), Selfie sticks
  • Items that cause loud noise, large ornaments (reflector boards for photography, etc.)
  • Bubble makers, balloons
  • Push scooters and other vehicles (except strollers, wheelchairs and pet buggies)

Tripods can continue to be used was before only during early morning premium time while the Rose Festival is ongoing.

Recently Yokohama English Garden has experienced numerous cases of trouble between visitors relating to video and still photography.
Please refrain from video and photo recording for extended periods of time in the same location, so that everyone can enjoy walking and taking pictures in the Garden safely, securely and in good spirits. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation on exercising good etiquette.
